France is hosting this international event on the protection of nature. For the first time, the Congress will welcome the general public free of charge in the “Nature Generation Areas”.
This Congress aims to set priorities and guide actions for conservation and sustainable development. More than 1,300 government, civil society and indigenous peoples' organizations, members of IUCN, will vote on major issues and actions that will guide the relationship between humanity and the planet for decades to come.
New in 2020, the Congress will welcome the general public free of charge at the "Espaces Générations Nature". Co-piloted by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Solidarity and the French Office of Biodiversity, these spaces will be an immersive and experiential showcase, composed of playful, artistic and educational spaces that will have the dual objective of giving visitors the keys to act in favor of biodiversity and to help them discover the commitments of French actors.
Participate in citizen workshops
In the Espaces Générations Nature, the public will be able to register for unique activities that will allow them to learn about and get involved in the protection of nature.
